Creative Practice Mentorship
Individualized support for developing, deepening, or working through blocks in your creative practice. Whether you make art for a living or are just beginning to make room for it, I'll work alongside you to build a practice that fits your life.

A creative practice is an ongoing relationship with your creative self that, just as any meaningful relationship, requires mindful attention and nurturing in order to thrive. And, like any relationship, it also grows, stalls, and changes over time.
Creative Practice Mentorship is for anyone who wants support with their creative practice:
-
developing a consistent routine
-
deepening the practices and methods you use
-
finding inspiration or material for new work
-
navigating critique and revision
-
moving through a work in progress
-
embarking on new artistic interests
-
finding a way through creative blocks
-
bringing more creativity into your daily life
I draw on years of research and lived experience accessing and teaching creativity across music and mixed-media composition, choreography, creative writing, and healing arts. Think of it as working with a composition teacher, except you don't need to be writing a piece of music. What you're really composing is your own creative practice.
Creative Practice Mentorship is for anyone who is seeking the support of an experienced fellow creative: encouraging and constructive feedback, inspiration, real practical advice, and someone to be there for you through the challenges and triumphs.
I believe everyone is inherently creative and needs an outlet for creative expression, and even very accomplished artists benefit from a thoughtful, informed perspective on their work. You also don't need to think of yourself as an artist to begin.
Together, we look at where your practice is now, what's getting in the way, and what you want it to become, and then work out approaches that fit you. Creative Practice Mentorship is not therapy or life coaching. It's guidance and support for focused, intentional work on your creative practice.
Sessions are available one-on-one or in a small group of up to three, in person or online, and offered on a sliding scale.
One-on-one sessions are ideal for focusing on your personal practice, and group sessions are a great way to work with collaborators or find community through creative exploration by going through the process alongside friends or family.
Sliding Scale Pricing
Creative Practice Mentorship is priced per session on a three-tiered sliding scale. There's no form and no proof required. Choose the tier that sounds most like your own financial life right now, or land anywhere between the listed prices. You can change tiers from session to session.
